HOTEL GUESTS – Reservation, Discounts, Payment, What Awaits Me in the Room
1. When can we check in to the hotel and by what time must we check out? Can we still swim on the day of check-out?
ANSWER:
Check-in at the hotel is possible from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival, and check-out is until 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Guests can use the pools all day – both on the day of arrival and on the day of departure.
2. Will I receive a bathrobe and slippers in the room?
ANSWER:
All guests of 4- and 5-star hotels at Terme Krka have bathrobes and slippers available.
3. Where can I park if I am a hotel guest, and where if I am a day guest (coming only for therapy or swimming)?
ANSWER:
Parking is available for both hotel guests and day guests at all hotel parking lots and parking areas near hotels and swimming areas, free of charge. The exception is Talaso Strunjan, where free parking is available only for hotel guests; day guests (visiting wellness, day therapies, etc.) must pay for parking themselves. We recommend the municipal parking lot by the coast.
4. Can a child stay with me in the room, or will they get an extra bed?
ANSWER:
The possibility of providing an extra bed depends on the room size and the child’s age.
- At Terme Dolenjske Toplice, Terme Šmarješke Toplice, and Hotel Šport Otočec:
- Children up to 5.99 years stay for free and sleep with parents on the main bed.
- The first child up to 11.99 years pays 50% of the adult price (if accommodated in a room with two adults) and sleeps on an extra bed.
- The second child up to 11.99 years stays for free on an extra bed.
At Talaso Strunjan:
- All children aged 6–11.99 years in a room with two adults receive a 50% discount.
- If a child stays in a room with one adult, the price is the adult rate minus 20%.

5. Do you offer any family discounts?
ANSWER:
At Terme Šmarješke Toplice, Terme Dolenjske Toplice, and Hotel Šport Otočec, in a double room with two adults, children receive the following discounts:
- Children 0–5.99 years stay for free.
- First child 6–11.99 years: 50% discount.
- Second child 6–11.99 years: free.
- Third (or any additional) child 6–11.99 years: 50% discount.
At Talaso Strunjan, in a double room with two adults:
- Children 0–5.99 years stay for free.
- Children 6–11 years: 50% discount.
Special benefits and discounts for children may apply during school holidays.
6. I’ve heard about the Terme Krka Club. What is it, how do I join, and what benefits do I get?
ANSWER:
Anyone who stays at least one night at Terme Dolenjske Toplice, Terme Šmarješke Toplice, Talaso Strunjan, or Hotels Otočec can become a member. You cannot join before spending at least one night with us.
Membership is completed at the hotel reception by signing a membership form. Membership is free.
On your next visit to Terme Krka, discounts will already apply. Benefits include:
- 10% discount on accommodation for stays of two or more days.
- 10% discount on individual health services at all three Terme Krka spas.
- 10% discount on individual wellness services.
- For every 28 days of stay at Terme Krka, members in our hotels receive two additional days of free accommodation.

7. Can I bring my dog to the hotel? What is the extra charge?
ANSWER:
Pets are allowed for an additional fee and subject to availability:
- Hotel Kristal, Terme Dolenjske Toplice: €25/day
- Hotel Laguna, Talaso Strunjan: €25/day
- Hotel Grad Otočec, Otočec: €50/day
- Hotel Šport, Otočec: €20/day

8. Why do I need to pay a deposit?
ANSWER:
You secure your reservation by paying a partial amount in advance according to the proforma invoice, which confirms your booking.
9. General Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy
ANSWER:
1. The following terms apply to reservations made directly via the Terme Krka Contact Center – by phone +386 820 50 300 or email booking@terme-krka.eu.
General Terms:
- Advance payment is required for a valid reservation confirmation.
- Changes or cancellations can be made by phone or email according to the cancellation policy.
- Children 12 years and older are treated as adults.
- Check-in is from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- Check-out is by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out is charged according to the hotel price list.
Cancellation Policy:
- Advance payment is required for a valid reservation. Paid amounts are credited toward the final invoice.
- Reservation can be canceled free of charge until the advance payment deadline.
- Cancellation 5–0 days before arrival: 20% of the reservation value will be charged; any overpaid deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellation up to 6 days before arrival: the deposit will be refunded.
- Reservation is valid until 9:00 PM on the day of arrival.
- No-show: 50% of the reservation value will be charged; any overpaid deposit will be refunded.
2. For services booked through the Terme Krka website and other online channels, the terms and conditions listed in the individual hotel price list apply. Guests receive these terms upon confirmation of the reservation.
Abuse of the reservation system may result in cancellation or modification of the reservation.

ANSWER:
Even if you are not a hotel guest, you are always welcome. No prior reservation is required. The pools and saunas at Terme Krka operate normally. We recommend checking for any restrictions before your planned visit. You can also call us to check the current availability.

14. I have a Terme Krka gift voucher. Until when can I use it, and what happens if I notice that the date has already expired?
ANSWER:
Terme Krka gift vouchers are always a welcome present, as our wide range of high-quality services and wellness programs promotes health and well-being for all generations and all seasons.
- Service gift vouchers are generally valid for one year, as our offer adapts to guest preferences and current guidelines.
- Value vouchers do not have a time limit.
- Vouchers can be used for any service at any Terme Krka facility – either in Dolenjska or Strunjan.
15. I would like to book a massage, beauty treatment, or another wellness service. How can I do this?
ANSWER:
