At the saunas in Talaso Strunjan, a rich selection of saunas awaits you, and their beneficial effects are further enhanced by marine elements such as salt scrubs and herbal or aromatic extracts.

Due to occasional full occupancy, we kindly ask you to check availability before arriving at the Vitarium Spa & Thalasso wellness center (pools and saunas) by calling: +386 5 67 64 426. Reservations for pools and saunas are not possible.

 

Various saunas at Talaso Strunjan

1. Steam sauna

A steam sauna with a salt scrub from the Sečovlje salt pans has beneficial effects on the musculoskeletal system and respiratory tract. The essential oils used further purify the airways and strengthen the immune system. After the salt scrub, your skin will be smoother and more radiant.

2. Infrared detox sauna

The infrared sauna is the only one that heats the body from the inside out. It is ideal for people sensitive to high temperatures or those with heart or vascular issues. It is especially recommended for sports injuries, joint problems, and muscle cramps. It is also effective in eliminating bacteria and reducing cellulite, as it stimulates skin regeneration.

3. Infrared sauna

Often called a miracle of nature, it affects the body similarly to the sun. Despite the relatively low temperature (40–60°C), it is one of the most effective types of sauna because it heats the body from within. Sweating begins later (after 10–20 minutes), allowing longer sessions of up to 40 minutes.

4. Finnish sauna

A traditional Finnish sauna is excellent for relaxing muscles, detoxifying the body, boosting immunity, and refreshing the mind. Temperature ranges from 80 to 95°C, with recommended use of 10–15 minutes.

5. Turkish sauna

The Turkish steam bath, due to high humidity, moisturizes and cleans the respiratory tract, strengthens the immune system, and stimulates blood circulation. Regular use reduces colds and pain in the neck, back, joints, and muscles.

6. Aroma sauna

Pamper your respiratory system with steam baths enriched with herbal and aromatic extracts, enhancing relaxation and well-being. Mint and eucalyptus cleanse the airways, while citrus scents invigorate and uplift.

7. Finnish salt sauna – with Himalayan salt wall

Thanks to the Himalayan salt wall, the air is rich in beneficial negative ions, promoting detoxification, antibacterial effects, and relief from respiratory issues, headaches, skin problems, and rheumatism.

8. Ice fountain

After a hot bath, gradual cooling with ice is refreshing. Rub your heated body with snow or ice flakes. The tingling sensation indicates revitalized blood circulation and strengthens the immune system.

9. Whirlpool

A gentle water massage soothes body parts under the most strain, especially the spine, neck, and legs.
